Picking your engagement shoot theme

I always ask my couples what they like to do together so that when we plan their engagement shoot we can style it around their favourite activity. It’s not always an easy question to answer, with busy lives many people look at each other and shrug – which is why I keep asking! Planning a wedding can be a stressful time but it is also be a time when your love is strong and you want to share it with the world. So it’s important to take a moment and do something you love together. Anne-Sylvie and Robert looked at each other and laughed; what they love to do is share an apéritif! So that’s what we did: a gloriously elegant stroll around the UNESCO Lavaux vineyards with a delicious bottle of red and a sunset over brooding skies. What a perfect way to take a moment and remember why you decided to spend the rest of your life with this one person.
