Sometimes it can be a really good thing to step back from the chaos of family life and see yourself through someone else’s eyes. Usha had warned me in advance that cute little Micah had become a “terror” in her first six months. Braced to use all my charm, she was – of course – much more of an angel! After getting to know Micah and a couple of games of Pirates with Rémy, we settled down to some gorgeous portraits for Micah’s six month session. Big brother was in good form, making his little sister laugh and look in the right direction. At six months, babies are starting to really interact and investigate their world and I just love Micah’s reactions to a little bit of family storytime.
Down by the lake we fed the ducks and while dad and son ran off some excess energy, mum and daughter cuddled up to watch the swans. I think little Micah is going to be a lot of fun by her first birthday, just check out the way she wanted to look at the world upside down in the last few photos! Hopefully her angel side has made a few more appearances over the holiday!
