It’s always fun to relive your childhood and at little David’s newborn photo session in Vevey, I got to play several rounds of Uno with his big sister Adriana! Because it’s not possible to predict how a newborn baby will be from day to day, I always encourage new mums to leave as much time as possible for their baby’s first photo shoot. That way if they need to feed or just to be grouchy for a little while, there is no stress, we can just take our time. Having someone to play Uno with is an added bonus! Katherine wanted some simple family portraits in their home to compliment the outdoor maternity pictures we took at the end of August by the lake and in the old town of Vevey. Both sessions will be brought together for her unique Storybook album, complete with David’s jungle themed nursery.

Little David got to pose with everyone and his big sister was especially excited to be put in charge of her baby brother. By the end he was understandably tired but with some expert walking around the room in dad’s arms, he let us get a few shots before remembering just how tired he was!

I am very happy to introduce baby David born 26 October 2014 at 1:31am, weighing 4.09kg and measuring 52cm.
