Baby & sibling photography

I first photographed Leticia’s oldest sister when she was just a bump in mum’s tummy so it was really exciting to be able to welcome her into the world and have the chance to capture her first days with her two older sisters. Mum, Caren, was keen to get all three girls together and also capture dad, Gus, before he went to work. So we started early making sure to get all the daddy and daughter pictures first. Once dad had gone to work, we spent some time with all three girls and tried out some of the poses Caren had found on Pinterest. When both older girls had had enough, we concentrated on Leticia who was a darling the whole time, her curious eyes just taking everything in.

‘Can I hold her? Can I hold her?’ Gabby was taking her role as eldest sister very seriously, not an easy task with mischievous little Carolina nearby. There was much wriggling and adjusting of hair bows but both girls seemed excited to get to know their new sister. Caren and Gus really appreciate good photographs of their family and the girls were comfortable in front of the camera. They squashed into cuddles and Carolina showed off both her cute and mad middle sister sides. Some of my favourite images of of big sister Gabi holding her new baby sister, looking so mature and responsible. Clearly delighted at the new member of the family.

While we had a little mum and daughter session the two girls sneaked off to change into princess dresses. It was only too fitting that we ended the session with Leticia and her unicorn. How lovely to be the baby sister of three!

Indoor newborn photography at home in Vevey

Caren got in touch with me quickly after the birth of her new baby. This was her third newborn shoot and she knew the importance of booking in early, as well as letting me know as soon as she had an idea of when she would be home. Newborn babies change and grow so quickly in the first few days that I only schedule shoots up to 2 weeks after the birth. Ideally we would do the photographs in the first ten days.

The shoot took about two and a half hours with breaks for feeding and changing. My baby shoots are always relaxed and booked for the full morning or afternoon. Babies can sense when their parents are anxious so I do everything I can to put you all at ease.

Two weeks after the shoot Caren and Gus received the link to their online gallery. They had decided to opt for high resolution files of their newborn photo shoot and could choose these easily online. When they had made their selection they sent it to me and I arranged the download within a couple of days.

For newborn and baby’s first year photography in Switzerland I offer a wide range of different photography collections. With a choice of albums, canvases, prints, cards downloadable high resolution files there is a personal way of you to remember these special moment. If you would like to book a baby photo shoot, please get in touch for collection pricing and availability.
